WHO: California State Parks, Quilter’s Sew-Ciety of Redding, Inc.                                   

WHAT: Second Saturday, Sacramento Art Walk, California State Parks Quilt Display                                                        

WHEN: Saturday September 13, 2014

10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.          

Special appreciation ceremony will take place at 2:00 p.m.                                    

WHERE: Leland Stanford Mansion State Historic Park

              800 N Street, Sacramento, CA 95814

 

WHY: This year, California State Parks is commemorating our 150th Anniversary statewide, and the Quilter's Sew-Ciety of Redding, Inc. produced 57 unique quilts in honor of State Parks.                    

The quilts will be on display starting September 2 through September 28 at the Stanford Mansion. Visitors of the popular Midtown Second Saturday activities are invited to view the quilts.

INFO: As part of the California State Parks 150th Anniversary, quilters have been

          submitting their work inspired on State Parks’ history throughout the year.

         The quilts can be viewed online on the California State Parks 150th Website.
