California State Parks Announces Two Historic-Style Specialty Food Concession Opportunities

San Diego, CA.--California State Parks is currently accepting proposals for the operation of two specialty concession contracts in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park within San Diego County, California.
The Requests for Proposals (RFP) are being issued for two separate ten-year concession contracts, one for a restaurant at 2734 Calhoun Street, and the other for a candy store at 2711 San Diego Avenue, within Old Town San Diego SHP. The business located at 2734 Calhoun Street was formerly operated as El Fandango restaurant, and the business located at 2711 San Diego Avenue currently operates as Cousin’s Candy.
All Requests-for-Proposals are due on Tuesday November 18, 2014 by 2:00 p.m. Interested parties are encouraged to attend an optional pre-proposal meeting on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Old Town San Diego State Historic Park, McCoy House, located at 2870 Congress Street, San Diego, CA 92110.
