California State Capitol Museum -- Governor's Day

Park: California State Capitol Museum

Join us on Sunday, May 4, from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM for a living history event depicting scenes from circa 1899 through 1920, including the time of the 1906 earthquake and “great fire” in San Francisco.

Four governors of the time period, Governors Gage, Pardee, Gillett, and Johnson will be highlighted.

Free tours will begin at the first floor rotunda of the Capitol and follow four different locations in the capitol.  A children’s activity table will also be available.

PRESENTED BY THE CALIFORNIA STATE CAPITOL MUSEUM VOLUNTEER ASSOCIATION.
