Park: Asilomar State Beach and Conference Grounds
What: A FREE Day-long event commemorating California State Parks 150th Anniversary with activities highlighting the architectural designs Julia Morgan built for the YWCA at Asilomar.
Activities include tours of several historic Julia Morgan Buildings; a lecture on Julia Morgan, Phoebe Apperson Hearst, and Bernard Maybeck by Hearst Castle historian, Victoria Kastner; Music and Fashions of the 1910s-1930s presented by the San Francisco Bay Area's Royal Society Jazz Orchestra and the Greater Bay Area Costumers' Guild.
Where: Asilomar State Beach and Conference Grounds, 800 Asilomar Blvd. in Pacific Grove.
Activities take place at the Grace Dodge Chapel Auditorium.
When: April 19th, 2014
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
