1ST ANNUAL BIRDING FESTIVAL AT THE SALTON SEA STATE RECREATION AREA ON THE NORTH SHORE OF THE GREAT SALTON SEA.

The Salton Sea is one of the largest remaining wetlands in all of California and an important stop for millions of birds along the Pacific Flyway. Over 400 species of birds have been identified here throughout the year.

Join us for a fun weekend for fabulous birding, kayaking and quality family time.

Registration fees are $50 dollars per person or $100 per family for the full package and includes the Friday night reception , kids activities, Saturday birding walks and classes, an evening program, and a special bird watching kayak tour on Sunday. Free half hour kayak fun will be available all day.

Full festival fees also include special camping rates and a Salton Sea tee shirt for each adult . Kids tees are extra.

Day use to the festival is $25 for adults and $50 for families

Sponsored by the Friends of the Salton Sea State Recreation Area & California State Parks All profits stay in the park and are used by our nonprofit association to promote educational and interpretive activities to conserve the unique natural and historical values of the Salton Sea.
