Veteran and military immediate family members receive half-off discounted train rides:
$5 adults, $2.50 youths ages 6-17, free for children 5 and under
General public train rides: $10 adults, $5 youths ages 6-17, free for children ages 5 and under

To honor their service and celebrate the patriotic holiday, California State Parks and the California State Railroad Museum are proud to offer veterans and active military personnel with complimentary excursion train rides on the Sacramento Southern Railroad plus complimentary Museum admission on Veteran’s Day! With patriotic music playing aboard the trains, veterans and active military personnel are encouraged to wear their uniforms with pride while enjoying a special excursion train ride. In addition, the California State Railroad Museum – North America’s most popular train museum -- is also offering complimentary admission for veterans and active military personnel during this celebratory day. Veterans and active military personnel must show their current military ID or proof of discharge under conditions other than dishonorable or bad conduct.
