Park: Anderson Marsh SHP
Come see what the end of spring is bringing to Anderson Marsh State Historic Park
Anderson Marsh State Historic Park holds monthly guided nature walks, followed by a tour of the Historic Ranch House Museum, on the second Saturday of the month. The next walk is scheduled for Saturday morning June 8th.
Led by Park Docents Gae Henry & Henry Bornstein, the walk will be on the Cache Creek trail which includes a boardwalk over some of the riparian ox-bows along the creek. This walk is ADA accessible. Bring your binoculars and meet in front of the Ranch House at 8:15am for time to experience the early morning wildlife to be found in the Ranch House and Barn complex yard – walk begins at 8:30am. A tour of the historic Ranch House Museum begins immediately after the walk. If rain cancels the walk, the ranch tour will begin at 8:30am.
