Meet in the Discovery Lab with Volunteer Naturalist Daniel Hellyer to explore the sensual world of desert insects, reptiles, birds, and mammals. We will consider how animals perceive and interpret the wide spectrum of colors, sounds, flavors, scents, and textures of the desert. The talk will be followed by a short tour in the Visitor Center garden. Begins at 1pm and lasts 1 hour.
