Celebrating Migration; Whale Walk at Leo Carrillo State Park

Spring is when one of the greatest migrations on earth is taking place right here along our coast! Join your Santa Monica Mountains Rangers on 4 dates this spring as we search for signs of Gray Whales making their way back north along their 12,000 mile journey. We’ll look from the bluffs for signs of these magnificent mammals and others like seals and dolphins. We may also explore the beach and tide pools down below in case the whales don’t show.  Bring binoculars – and a beach chair and watch all day!
