Avast, Matey!! Dress like a Pirate on Saturday and Sunday October 13 and 14, and join in a Treasure Hunt with a historic twist searching for clues at our historic buildings located in Old Town Monterey. Geared for families with children ages 10 and under, treasure seekers can pick up their Treasure Map at the Robert Louis Stevenson House, 530 Houston Street, Monterey State Historic Park, starting at 12 noon both days. After your search, return to the Stevenson House for prizes and refreshments.
From 4:00-5:00 p.m. both days, wrap up your Treasure Seeking with a "Sea Shanty Review and Sing-a-Long" led by favorite Monterey Peninsula children’s musician, Nancy Raven.
Time: Treasure Hunt: 12 noon - 4:00 p.m.;
Concert: 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
**$5.00 suggested donation per family to benefit children’s educational programs at Monterey State Historic Park.
