Californians deserve a day to celebrate their great state and on Sunday, September 9, the public is invited to a special event in honor of California's 162nd year of statehood! Visitors will enjoy patriotic live music, birthday cake and ice cream provided by California State Parks, the State Capitol Museum and with financial support from the California State Capitol Museum Volunteer Association. Come one, come all and be sure to stop by the California State Capitol Museum located inside the Capitol that offers free admission all year long.
