A View from Buzzard’s Roost

Park: Big Basin Redwoods SP

When: Sunday, August 26 at 9:30 am

Join Docent Hal Anjo on a 4.5 mile, three-hour hike to Buzzard's Roost, a 2,150-foot peak in Big Basin, where you’ll see some of the best views in the park. Moderate two-mile climb going out, easy return. This hike is not recommended for small children. Bring lots of water, a snack, hiking shoes and a hat. Meet at Park Headquarters.

Park is located 9 miles outside of Boulder Creek on Hwy 236.
