Sutter’s Fort SHP -- A Taste of History -- September 24th

Park: Sutter's Fort SHP

Attention foodies, history enthusiasts and everyone who loves a good time...the Friends of Sutter’s Fort in association with Slow Food Sacramento is holding their second annual "A Taste of History" culinary event that includes a four-course sit-down dinner in a beautiful setting inside the historic walls of Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park.  What’s unique about the event is that Sacramento’s top chefs re-create historic dishes -- like those John Sutter may have enjoyed -- using today’s innovative cooking techniques and vibrant locally grown ingredients.   You will enjoy lively music, tasty appetizers, wine and beer pairings, a delicious meal, silent auction and more all while raising much needed funds to support the educational programming available at Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park.  Don’t miss the food, the fun and the memorable culinary experience at "A Taste of History" -- reserve your tickets early as space is limited!
