2018 Old Mill Days Poster

Fall is here. Come enjoy the dedicated staff and volunteers for a family fun event, Old Mill Day at Bale Grist Mill State Historic Park in the north Napa Valley. The event is on Saturday, October 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event has been reduced to one day this year.
Step back in time, to the 1850’s to 1860’s, when you walk onto the grounds of the mill. Staff and volunteers dress in Pioneer and Rancho Period appropriate attire, to share music and mill tours, along with demonstrations and handcrafts for everyone. Cornhusk dolls, rope making, woodworking, blacksmithing and much more.
Chili, cornbread and apple juice will be available from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. for a nominal fee.
The Bale Mill is located at 3369 St. Helena Hwy. Please park in the main parking lot and walk the short distance to the mill across the bridge at Mill Creek. For those needing accessibility assistance, call the mill on weekends at 707-963-2236.
