The status of golden eagles in coastal southern California has been uncertain.  Learn the findings from the USGS multi-year survey and tracking program of golden eagles that addressed questions regarding habitat use, movement behavior, nest occupancy, genetic population structure, and human impacts on eagles.  Lecture is at the UCI Steele/Burnand Anza-Borrego Desert Research Center (401 Tilting T Dr., Borrego Springs).  $5 at the door, no advance registration needed.
