Join State Park Volunteer Naturalist Terry Hunefeld for a slow 2-mile round-trip nature walk to the Bill Keyon Overlook to watch the sunrise over the Mescal Bajada. Along the way we'll look for Bighorn Sheep and examine desert plants to discover how they thrive in the scorching-hot sun and 122F summer heat. Bring water, hat & hiking shoes. Meet at the south side of Yaqui Pass Campground on Highway S-3 at the William Kenyon Overlook trailhead sign, one mile North of Tamarisk Grove Campground. Limited to 10 participants. Sign up at the Visitor Center.
