4th Annual Alaska Native Day Flyer Learn about the Alaska Native community at Fort Ross.

  • Fort Ross Qayaq Race--one mile race around Sandy Cove, Fort Ross, in traditional skin boats (participants with skin boats welcome to join)
  • Marc Daniels of Make Access Iqyax will continue his skin boat build
  • Tlingit and Haida dancers
  • Alaskans from California to Alaska will share stories and history
  • Alaska Natives artifacts on display from Phoebe Hearst Museum
  • Presentations about the marine mammals and marine ecology
  • Walk through the Russian-era fur warehouse
  • Kashia Pomo selling tacos and fry bread desserts
  • Alaska Native games
  • Halibut hook crafting
  • Southern Winds Dancers inside Fort Compound
