Join Volunteer Hike Leader Sean Brown on a trail route to Lake Ilsanjo for picnic lunch. Stop along the way to observe trail maintenance projects and share ways that volunteers help make Trione-Annadel State Park special. Families are encouraged! The route will include approximately 500 foot elevation gain over about 8.5 miles of varied trails. The group will stop for a 30-minute lunch break at Lake Ilsanjo. Bring a picnic lunch! Wear hiking shoes, layers appropriate for weather, bring water and lunch. Trekking poles recommended. Some trails are rocky and uneven. HEAVY RAIN CANCELS. Fee-free hike. $7 day-use fee per car for park entrance at Spring Lake Regional Park. No advance reservations needed. There are restrooms and water only in the parking area. Dogs are not allowed.
