When: Saturday September 13, 2014 at 9:00 am9:00 am
Race Location: Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park Visitor Center, which is located 5 miles north of the town of Orick. Take Highway 101 to Newton B. Drury Scenic Parkway.
Course: The race will begin and end on the Netwon B. Drury parkway at the intersection with the Visitor Center entrance road. Half Marathon course will be on the Netwon B. Drury Park way for 9 miles with the final 4 miles on the Prairie Creek Trail, ending back at the visitor center. 5k course will be on the Elk Prairie Trail and ending with the final stretch on the entrance road to Elk Prairie Campground.
Features: T-shirt, Refreshments,Timing, Aid stations stocked with water, healthy eats, and volunteers.
Awards Ceremony: The fastest three runners male and female finishers for each run will receive a trophy.
Entry Fee: Before August 30th, 2014, $50.00 for Half Marathon and $25.00 for 5K.

All proceeds will benefit Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park. In 1923 the park was established to provide a sanctuary of ancient Redwood forest for enjoyment by future generations. Today this park in partnership with Redwood National Park preserves 45% of all remaining ancient Redwood forest.
