(Adult Only underground tours depart from Museum)
When: 5 to 8 p.m. on May 29 to August 28, 2014 with one exception*
*On August 14, the Railroad Museum will not be open for extended hours but special evening excursion train rides will be offered at 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Cost: Railroad Museum admission -- $10 adults, $5 youths ages 6-17, free for children ages 5 and under; Excursion train rides -- $10 adults; $5 youths ages 6-17; free for children ages 5 and under (VIP El Dorado train rides are $20 for adults; $15 for youths)
Sacramento Museum admission - $6 for adults, $4 for youth (ages 6-17); free for children ages five and under; Adult Only underground tours -- $20 for adults

The California State Railroad Museum and the Sacramento History Museum are proud to offer extended hours on Thursday evenings as part of a special "Thursday Night at the Museums" program this summer! Both museums will stay open until 8 p.m. on Thursdays between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend this summer with one exception. On August 14, the Railroad Museum will not be open for extended hours but will offer evening excursion train that evening only. In addition, the Sacramento History Museum is offering Thursday evening Adult Underground Tours all summer long. Don't miss "Thursday Night at the Museums" this summer!
