Pacheco State Park’s 18th Kite Day
On Saturday June 15th, Pacheco State Park will host the 18th Annual Family Kite Day from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
There will be many free fun activities including a ‘Make Your Own Kite’ table, face painting, crafts, Pie Eating Contests and Bubble Gum Blowing Contests. Plus, there will be nature tables and a ‘sun and wind’ table. Families are encouraged to bring a kite, hats and/or sunscreen, drinking water, lawn chairs, and a picnic lunch.
No drinking water is available at the park, so bring your own beverages. The weather at Pacheco State Park varies, so bring layered clothing.
There is an entrance fee of $10.00 per vehicle. This fee will allow you to also visit San Luis Reservoir State Recreation Area the same day.
