Where: Meet at teh flagpole in front of the Visitor Center
When: 9:30 a.m. (1 hour)
Join State Park Volunteer Naturalist Terry Hunefeld to do some detective sleuthing on a slow, easy "nature-amble" around the Visitor Center gardens to discover signs of what species of seldom-seen life are active in the desert. Along the way we'll examine different species of desert plants "up-close-and-personal" to find out how they survive drought, intense sun and 122oF heat. Meet Terry at the flagpole in front of the Visitor Center at 9:30 a.m. Limited to 10 participants who must have signed up at the Visitor Center or pre-registered by calling 760-767-4205.
