Hours of Operation

The lands and facilities of Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park are hereby closed to public use, entry, occupancy or parking of vehicles except as provided below. Daily closing hours are posted at major public use areas and at entry gates. Outbound gates at day use areas are locked at the posted closing hour. Inbound gates may be closed thirty (30) earlier.

DAY USE HOURS (Open 7 days per week)

• Day after Labor Day Holiday to October 31st - 3 AM to 6 PM
• November 1st to February 23th - 3AMto 5 PM
• March 1 to Friday before Memorial Day Weekend - 3 AM to 6 PM
• Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend - 3 AM to 3 PM

MUSEUM HOURS (Open 7 days per week)

• March 1st to October 31st - 9 AM to 5 PM
• November 1st to February 23th - 9AMto4PM

Exception to this order may only be granted in writing by the Gold Fields District Superintendent at 7755 Folsom-Auburn Road, Folsom, CA 95630.

Nothing herein shall be construed in derogation of other provisions of the law.
