· Distance: 6 miles with limited stops / Moderately Strenuous

7/10/22 - Hike led by Franklin Young 9am

· Description: Green Gulch Farm Zen center. In addition to being a Soto Zen center, Green Gulch operates a 7-acre organic farm practicing state of the art techniques. We will have an opportunity to tour Green Gulch.

· Tentative Route: Dias Ridge to Miwok to Coyote Ridge to Green Gulch to Green Gulch Zen center to Golden Gate Dairy Stables to Dias Ridge trail to Dias Ridge

· Distance: 9 miles with lunch at Green Gulch Peaceful Gardens / Strenuous

· Meet: Dias Ridge Trail intersection with Panoramic Highway

· Description: In search of Sitting Bull. Our goal is to visit the Sitting Bull plaque. Along the way we'll visit the Double Bow Knot station

· Tentative Route: Mountain Home to Gravity Car Grade to Double Bow Knot to Hoo Koo E Koo to Temelpa to Sitting Bull plaque to Vic Haun to Hoo Koo E Koo to Hogback to Mountain Home

· Description: Classic Pantoll Loop: Explore Redwoods, a meadow with a population of 3 Stellar’s Jays, the amazing TCC trail, and Cardiac Hill with amazing ocean views.

· Tentative Route: Alpine Trail, TCC Trail, Dipsea, and Lower Old Mine

· Distance: 3.5 miles / Moderate

· Meet: Pantoll Parking Area

Tam: Trails of Creativity" / “Me thinks that the moment my legs begin to move, my thoughts begin to flow!” -Thoreau. / Science is proving what people have known for ages – going out into nature is one of the best ways to connect with your creative mind. There will be a few stopping points along the way so bring a notebook, pens/pencils, and make your own creative connection to Mt. Tam!
