Weekly Park Activities

Snowshoe Tours depart from the Sugar Pine Point Campground Day Use parking lot and are led by Park staff.

Tours are 120-minutes (2 miles) with short educational stops along the way. We will discuss the 1960 Winter Olympics, of which Sugar Pine Point was the venue for all cross-country events.

*Participants are responsible for bringing their own snowshoes, warm layers, and sun protection.
If snow conditions are not appropriate for snowshoeing, tours may become walking tours. Traction devices on boots may be helpful.

Registration Form to reserve your spot. Tours are offered on Saturdays and Sundays at 11am and 1pm. Drop-in participation is welcome until we reach capacity.

*We will provide a 48-hour cancelation notice if unsafe weather conditions persist.
