Leo Carrillo State Park

A few days each winter and spring, tidepool creatures are exposed during low or minus tides.  Students joining this virtual program gently explore this amazing and fragile habitat where the land meets the sea.  They will recieve an introduction to the value and preservation of the tidepools and a tour of these animals and plants.  The main theme is the importance of protecting and preserving this unique and fragile habitat and its inhabitants.

Virtual or in-person school tours are available Wednesday-Friday.
