The Chumash: A People, A Land

The Chumash people have successfully survived in the Santa Monica Mountains for thousands of years due to the climate and diversity of plants and animals present (biodiversity). The biodiversity of the mountains is different today than it was when the Chumash lived on the land thousands of years ago, yet the area continues to be home to large populations of people.

Offered virtually from Rancho Sierra Vista/Satwiwa in Newbury Park.
