Enrollment
Enrollment in the Junior Lifeguard Program is first-come-first-served. Due to the overwhelming popularity of the Junior Lifeguard Program, enrollment is expected to reach capacity. Students are considered enrolled in the program when, either confirmation from on-line enrollment is received or the Junior Lifeguard Office receives the properly completed forms and full payment of tuition fees. No partial payments are accepted.
PLEASE SUBMIT APPLICATION BEFORE TRYOUT DATE TO INSURE SPACE IN PROGRAM.
STUDENT AGES:
The California State Parks Lake Perris Junior Lifeguard program introduces young people (ages 8-15) to safe aquatic recreational opportunities and is designed to improve young people’s physical conditioning, their understanding and respect for the environment, respect for themselves, their parents, and their peers.
PROGRAM TIMES:
Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (No weekends)
Program Fees
$200 per child plus 10-18 dollar sun protective shirt (TBA). You also must provide a navy blue swim suit.
Tryout Dates
New Participants are required to pass a prerequisite swim of: 100-yard swim (contestant chooses stroke), 10-yard underwater swim, and a 5-minute water tread.
Your child must attend and pass one of the tryouts:
- Tuesday, 5/21 from 5:00-7:00pm
- Saturday, 6/8 from 9:00-11:00am

Parent Information Meeting
All 2019 participants must attend the mandatory parent information meeting to be held on June 26th 6-8pm, at the Lake Perris Pavilion/Lot 9-10, 17801 Lake Perris Dr. Perris, Ca 92571.
