Park Aide Positions Available
Does working with kids in the outdoors interest you? If so, then being a Summer Adventures Camp Counselor with California State Parks may be a great way to spend your summer. The program includes three sessions which run from mid-June through July. You will guide children ages 8 to 12 through a series of outdoor adventures that include hiking, kayaking, whale watching, arts and crafts and much more. If hired, the world-famous Point Lobos State Natural Reserve could be your office!
In order to apply, you must have a valid driver license. Additional consideration will be given to applicants with experience in the following areas: recreation, education, children and first aid. Applicants must possess the proper temperament to work with children and be able to hike up to five miles in a day. Successful applicants must submit to a Live Scan background check before being hired.
