Enrollment

Enrollment in the Junior Lifeguard Program is first-come-first-served. Due to the overwhelming popularity of the Junior Lifeguard Program, enrollment is expected to reach capacity. Students are considered enrolled in the program when the Junior Lifeguard Office receives the properly completed forms and full payment of tuition fees. No partial payments are accepted.
PLEASE SUBMIT APPLICATION BEFORE TRYOUT DATE.

STUDENT AGES:
Students must be 9 through 16 years of age as of the first day of program instruction.

PROGRAM DATES:  2013
First Session – June 17th – July 5th
Second Session – July 8th – July 26th
Third Session – July 29th – August 16th

 
PROGRAM TIMES:
Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Special hours for field trips will be announced.

2013 Program Fees

If paying by Credit Card a fee of $325 for first participant and $305 for all additional participants or sessions will be charged.

If paying by check please include two separate checks per household!!!

$300.00 for the first student from a family.
$280.00 for each additional family student. $20 off each additional session.

*Make an additional $25.00 check per student per session to: CALIFORNIA STATE PARKS FOUNDATION

*To cover program expenses that the State of California will not allow.

Parent Orientation Meeting, Uniform Sales & Make-Up Tryouts

Saturday June 15th Ventura State Beach Parking Lot area:  10 a.m. 
We will also conduct an ocean tryout test for all new Junior Lifeguards that did not make a regularly scheduled pool tryout:  9 a.m.

Tryout Dates

Saturday May 18th 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Saturday June 1st 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
At the Ventura Aquatic Center (Kimball pool)
