We have a variety of activities to help you get a feel for what it takes to actually make a quilt. These activities are available on Wednesdays during Living History activities and on special events. They are available upon special request for groups and organizations.

Create a quilt block with your own design. Click Here

Flannel board:
Fabric squares can be moved around to experiment and create a quilt block.
Memory game. Can you put a star block back together from memory?

Guess their name! Take a quick quiz and match quilt blocks with their names.

Contribute to making a quilt for the Sanitary Commission of 1863. Participate in sewing a quilt for a Civil War soldier. Sew a blocks together and sign your name. You could win this quilt. After it is hand quilted by the Historic Quilt Guild, it will be raffled on July 4th in Old Town.  You need not be present to win and the quilt can be mailed to anyone residing in the United States. Tickets will be available throughout the year.
