Farmer John Signs on to Help State Parks

Start with a town that has an appetite for eating adventurously, season it with every culture in the world, and roast it in 365 days of absolutely perfect grilling weather, and voila! You have the story of Farmer John, a local Southern California company, full of Southern California locals.

Farmer John is proud to support Southern California Beaches, our favorite places to play and grill.  Through this unique partnership, Farmer John will give grilling a boost at 5 state beaches across Southern California: Doheny, San Onofre, Huntington,  Point Mugu, and Carpinteria.  Consumers helped to support the cause by buying select Farmer John products at any Ralphs and Vons stores in the Summer of 2011.

To start the fun, Farmer John held a kick-off to summer BBQ at Doheny State Beach on July 2. Consumers could enter the Farmer John Local Legend Contest by visiting their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/farmerjohn. Everyone registered joined the Local Legends competition at Doheny and had some wacky fun and relaxed with a tasty treat from the world famous Farmer John Tailgater.
