GOLD RUSH LIVE 2011

Coloma Gold Rush Live! October 8th, 9th, and 10th, 2011 10:00am till 4:00pm.

            This event recreates the town of Coloma during the California Gold Rush, circa 1850. Park Visitors will enjoy historic trade demostrations, pioneer children's games and activities, wagon rides, a merchants market featuring foods and crafts, and gold rush music. Gold panning for all ages will be available at Bekearts Gun Shop. Sawmill carpentry demostrations, pioneer cooking demostrations, and historic re-enactments are done daily. Historic buildings will be open for tour. Monday October 10th is planned especially for school groups.
