In conjunction with the California State Parks Foundation, the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Southern California and Stater Bros. Markets raised funds to plant One Million trees in state parks that were destroyed by wildfire. Coke and Stater Bros. challenged consumers to help raise funds for the project by purchasing Coca Cola family products and by donating on their own.

In 6 weeks, Coca Cola and Stater Bros. Markets "Reforest California" campaign raised enough funds to plant 1,083,000 trees in fire damaged parks. The 2009 Coca-Cola and Stater Bros. Markets "Reforest California" campaign,
developed interpretive panels as part of education programs about
fire danger and restoration in Southern California State Parks.

Sprouts Farmers Market is one of the nation's fastest growing natural food
retailers in California, specializing in farm fresh produce.
Sprouts conducted in-store fundraisers during the month of April 2009,
benefiting a number of Southern California state parks and state beaches.

Subaru of America partnered with California State Parks to donate
six 2010 Outbacks for park staff use. "Ready for Adventure" events were held at
high profile Southern California park units, like Silver Strand State Beach
and Point Mugu State Park.

Subaru's Partnership with California State Parks was designed to show the
automobile company's support of State Parks and to highlight the
new 2010 Outback and Legacy.
