Colonal Allensworth State Historic Park
Fort Tejon State Historic Park
Providence Mountains State Recreation Area

The office also features an educational store with a wide variety of desert-themed apparel, books, toys, and educational gift items highlighting the local natural and cultural history. Proceeds benefit the Poppy Reserve/Mojave Desert Interpretive Association, a non-profit organization that funds educational projects and supports the volunteer program for several local State Parks.
Brochures, maps, educational displays, and other information about the recreational opportunities found in and around the Antelope Valley are also available for the public. The staff members are very knowledgeable about the local community and are an excellent information resource, with first-hand experience at the parks and other attractions of the area.
The office is located in the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve west of Lancaster. From Hwy 14, take the Avenue I exit, and go west for 13 miles. Avenue I becomes Lancaster Road, and the Reserve entrance is on the right. The Tehachapi District Office is halfway up the park entrance road, on the right. The office is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
