Brochures, maps, educational displays, and other information about the recreational opportunities found in and around the Antelope Valley are also available for the public.  The staffmembers are very knowledgeable about the local community and are an excellent information resource, with first-hand experience at the parks and other attractions of the area.

The office is located in the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve west of Lancaster.  From Hwy 14, take the Avenue I exit, and go west for 13 miles. Avenue I becomes Lancaster Road, and the Reserve entrance is on the right. The Tehachapi District Office is halfway up the park entrance road, on the right. The office is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
