Entry Fees and Annual Passes

Return to Lake Perris Home


Entry fees for the park must be paid at the entrance, either to the attendant at the kiosk or by using the provided Iron Ranger Envelopes at the entrance.  The campground and gate kiosks (when staffed) can accept debit and credit cards.

Please display your receipt of payment or the Iron Ranger payment stub in the lower diver's side corner of your windshield, visible for the Park Rangers.

Note:
  In the event of a full park closure, only those vehicles that have a camping reservation for that night will gain access to the park.  All other vehicles will not be allowed into the park until the closure has been lifted.


DAY USE RATES


Type Fee Details
Day Use $10.00 per vehicle (9 persons or less per vehicle)
Boat Use $8.00 per watercraft (canoes, kayaks, etc. are not charged)
Senior Day Use $9.00 per vehicle (9 persons or less per vehicle, driver 62+)
Disabled Discount Vehicle $5.00 per vehicle (with state discount pass)
Disabled Discount Boat $4.00 per watercraft (with state discout pass)
Small Bus $30.00 (10-24 passenger capacity)
Large Bus $60.00 (25+ passenger capacity)

Entry Fees apply for all entry into the park. This includes RV Dumping fees, dropping off, picking up, passing through, looking around, etc. If you are paying for passes, renting group camp/picnic or camping then go straight to the campground.

We do not charge hikers or bicyclists who enter the park on foot or by bicycle. There is no parking available outside of the park.

RV DUMPING

RV dumping is available. If you are camping at Lake Perris there is no fee to use the dump station. If you are not camping at Lake Perris then the standard entry fees still apply. $10.00 per vehicle that enters the park.

ANNUAL PASSES


Passes can be purchased at the Lake Perris Campground inside the park or online at the State Parks Store.

Park Pass Descriptions and information about which parks accept the passes:  

     The “Surf Explorer” Annual Day Use Pass -- $195.00
        This pass includes all of the parks included on the current Annual Day Use Pass, including popular Southern California beaches. Valid for 12 months from month of purchase.
        ACCEPTED at Lake Perris and Silverwood.

     The “150th Anniversary” Commemorative Annual Day Use Pass -- $150.00
        This pass replaces the Golden Poppy pass. It includes all reservoirs, destination parks, inland parks, and beaches north of Angeles District. Purchase of this pass includes a complimentary “Historian Passport.” Valid for 12 months from month of purchase.
        ACCEPTED at Lake Perris and Silverwood.

     BOAT USE PASS: $100.00 Valid for 12 months from month of purchase.

     LIMITED GOLDEN BEAR PASS: $20.00  Expires December 31st. Application required.

     DISABLED DISCOUNT PASS: $3.50 Application required. 
       For permanently disabled persons, this pass entitles the bearer to a 50% discount for vehicle day use, family camping, and boat use fees at California State Park operated units. The pass may be used for entry of one passenger vehicle with a capacity of nine persons or less, and the boat use fee for one vessel associated with this vehicle. The pass may be used for camping, but is not valid for supplemental fees such as Extra Vehicle fees. Only the vehicle or campsite occupied by the pass holder is subject to the discount.

     DISTINGUISHED VETERAN PASS: FREE Application required. 
       This pass must be purchased through the mail or in person at the State Parks Store. It cannot be purchased at Lake Perris. This pass grants the holder free entry for one one passenger vehicle with a capacity of nine persons or less, and the boat use fee for one vessel associated with this vehicle. The pass may be used for camping, but is not valid for supplemental fees such as Extra Vehicle fees. Only the vehicle or campsite occupied by the pass holder is subject to the discount.

The following two passes are not valid for entry into Lake Perris, but a small number will be available for sale to interested parties.

     The “California Experience” Annual Day Use Pass – $75.00
        This pass can be used at over 70 parks in Northern California and some Central and Southern Inland parks. Valid for 12 months from month of purchase.
        NOT VALID at Lake Perris and Silverwood.

     The “Historian Passport” -- $50.00
        This pass will provide free admission for up to 4 people where per-person entry is charged, and some museums that charge parking fees. This pass is included free as part of the 150th Anniversary Commemorative pass. Valid for 12 months from month of purchase.
        NOT VALID at Lake Perris and Silverwood.
