California Recreational Trails Committee
The California Recreational Trails Committee was sunset as of January 2013. The California Recreational Trails Committee (CRTC) was charged with hearing the concerns and issues of California’s non-motorized trail users and managers, and advising the Director of California State Parks and the Governor’s office on trail issues. The Statewide Trails Manager serves as Executive Secretary. Questions or comments for the committee may be emailed to trails@parks.ca.gov.

The CRTC was comprised of seven members. Members were active in local, regional and statewide trails programs, generally with personal interests in hiking, biking and/or horseback riding. By statute, there were two seats filled from northern, two seats from central, and two seats from southern California, with the seventh seat being filled at-large. Each seat carried a four-year term.
*Members may have served beyond their term until reappointed, removed or replaced by the Governor.
