Effective professional administrators are crucial to the success of the California State Park System. This program is designed to provide administrative managers with up-to-date information on California State Parks administrative procedures, policies and practices. Instructors include highly regarded private consultants and experts from within the Department. Participants receive current business management training in: Fiscal Accounting, Budgeting, Personnel Law, Personnel, Human Rights, Contracts Administration, Concessions Administration, Information Technology, Quality Management, and Professional Development.
Time is dedicated for all participants to engage in administrative issue resolution discussions, administrative process improvement team(s) updates and information sharing with other Districts and Divisions.
