Portola and Castle Rock Foundation

PCRF LogoPortola and Castle Rock Foundation supports projects at Portola Redwoods and Castle Rock State Parks, two unique parks located in the Santa Cruz Mountains.  We are a non-profit organization as recognized by the IRS; our meetings are open to the public and we welcome citizen involvement.

We have spearheaded agreements between non-profit organizations and the Department of Parks and Recreation to keep both Portola Redwoods and Castle Rocks State Parks open when they were threatened with closure.

In addition, through fundraising and profits from the sale of maps, brochures and interpretive materials, the foundation supports creative interpretive exhibits and volunteer projects.  Recently we have developed and installed new interpretive exhibits at both parks.

We are seeking volunteers to join our new volunteer program which will work on projects in both Portola Redwoods and Castle Rock State Parks.  Please email us at info@portolaandcastlerockfound.org if you would like to become part of our volunteer team.

Portola and Castle Rock Foundation has proven itself to be a valuable asset to the parks, visitors and staff of Portola Redwoods and Castle Rock State Parks.
