Friends of Mt Tam
The Mt. Tamalpais Interpretive Association is a volunteer organization whose purpose is to promote the conservation, education and interpretation of California State Parks, primarily at Mount Tamalpais State Park.
The Tamalpais Conservation Club
The primary purpose of the Club is to conserve the natural environment of Mt. Tamalpais, which is located in Marin County, California just north of San Francisco. The Tamalpais Conservation Club is known as Guardian of the Mountain in recognition of its activities to preserve the scenic wilderness of Mt. Tamalpais. TCC supports retention of these lands as a public park and nature preserve and aids in the acquisition of open space.
